PLAN-A-EMCEE brings back a piece of his musical history with his 2026 project, "Lyrically Reclaim Your Brain," a remake of his original 2000 track. Also known as Anwar Supreme, he returns with a song about awareness, independent thinking, and questioning what society takes for granted. The basic idea is to look beyond the surface and see what is going on around you.
The track invites you to fight for change, against the passivity the artist has seen in people who just accept and go along with their environment. The remake doesn't write it off as ancient history, but it links its message to the reality of 2026. The way the song engages with social struggles, global issues, and economic pressures shows how issues raised over twenty years ago can still speak to our present day.
Anwar Supreme was deep in the making of the remake, adding to the double creative identity this release is all about. This is a conscious return to underground hip-hop with the specific intention of getting you to think critically and stay woke. "Lyrically Reclaim Your Brain" isn't a new tagline but a rehashing of an old one for a new era.
