"No Doubt About It" by The Beat Generation is a funk, R&B, fusion-influenced release with a melody and a gutsy lyrical message. With three continents coming together, the track is defined by a collaboration that brings musicians from around the world together around a shared musical identity.
The song features Nigerian guitarist Ayo Israel and bassist Miklos Frirsz. The release is once again filled with energy, thanks to Lawrence White's full, rich vocals layered atop the dynamic production. The Beat Generation samples a wide range of funk and soul artists, from Bootsy Collins, Ohio Players, Sly Stone, Funkadelic, Boz Scaggs, and James Brown.
These references place "No Doubt About It" in a tradition of rhythm, personality, punchy bass movement, and memorable vocal presence. What's interesting about the release is how well the international collaboration fits into its sound. The Beat Generation blends genres with a confident message and a collaborative feel that makes the track stand out.
