A. HerrMann's latest release, "Only Good News," starts with the feeling that the world can seem dark when you watch television, open a newspaper, or check online news. The song responds by looking beyond the endless flow of bad stories and asking you to remember the good things still happening around you.
The song asks what happens when those are the only stories that receive attention. That perspective gives "Only Good News" its emotional purpose to allow for hope and remind you that good human experiences still occur every day.
Every day, good things happen, but when hard stories dominate the conversation, they can get lost in the noise. A. HerrMann uses that to make a hopeful musical statement about love, kindness, unity, and the possibility of people being nicer to each other.
It encourages you to seek out what's easily overlooked and cherish moments that offer encouragement. "Only Good News" reminds us to find hope, kindness, and the good that remains, even when it is absent.
