Right away, something about the speculation of "Grab Your Guitar," the new song from Elisa Minelli, feels empowering. The song helps you get through hard times, let go of what you're holding onto, and take back control of your own story.
"Grab Your Guitar" is a song about self-expression and resilience, using the guitar as a metaphor for personal agency. The message says when times get tough, it takes strength to tackle them head-on and not let circumstances determine who you become. The guitar is a symbol of choosing to step up, take charge, and be the hero of your journey.
That determination is the song's encouraging emotional heart. Minelli's approach bridges the personal and the universal, and the track sounds like a reminder that everyone has their own way to process obstacles and find the courage to keep moving. Music is part of that process here, a space where emotion can be released and inner strength can emerge.
Minelli's musical participation is also evident in the recording itself. The vocals were recorded at Phoenix Recording Studio in Castel Mella, Brescia, Italy, along with the Taylor acoustic guitar model 214ce DLX, the Gibson Les Paul Studio electric guitar, and the piano. Emilio Rossi mixed and mastered the recording, bringing it all together.
