Maithili Raelle’s “I CHOOSE ME” is an uplifting R&B anthem about self-worth, independence, and the courage to not live according to everyone else’s expectations. The song, which features Hiii Siddity, captures the feeling of reaching a personal turning point and finally choosing your own peace.

“I CHOOSE ME” feels like it’s based on a simple but powerful realization that always putting other people first can come at the expense of your own happiness. Maithili Raelle turns it into a statement of independence instead of passing that burden along. This song is about the point where making other people happy no longer feels sustainable.

The song is basically about keeping your peace. It embraces the importance of knowing the situations that drain you, letting go of unnecessary burdens, and moving through life with a stronger sense of personal direction. That message is emotionally relatable, especially for those who have put their own needs on the back burner.

The collaboration with Hiii Siddity adds another dimension to the track, and the R&B foundation gives the message room to breathe. The song marks a defining moment for Maithili Raelle, and “I CHOOSE ME” elevates that personal transformation into an anthem for anyone ready to release what no longer serves them and move forward with their peace intact.
