Eylsia Nicolas’ new release “We Outshine” reminds you to find the courage to take back your voice and your place in the world. “We Outshine” is built around the experience of feeling different, isolated, ashamed, or afraid, and it approaches those emotions with empathy rather than distance.

The song is written from the perspective of an outsider looking in, and anyone who has ever felt separate from the world around them can find something familiar in the message. The song is about moving forward despite everything that would keep you hidden. That central idea gives “We Outshine” positive emotional weight, turning weakness into strength.

The song recognizes the courage it takes to move on from the struggle, rather than just dwelling on it. To reclaim your voice is a slow process of learning to stand confidently in a space where you once felt like you didn’t belong. “We Outshine” is an emotional journey about resilience, identity, and self-belief.

The song has an unmistakable sense of purpose, as it is one of Nicolas’ most personal recordings. It speaks to more than one experience alone, to anyone who has had to overcome feelings of isolation or fear before they had the confidence to step forward. The track is a reminder that sometimes the most powerful step is just finding the courage to be seen.
