"Walty makes you dance-Walty te fais danser" by Walty blends musical heritage with contemporary electronic sound. Walty and Co is the brainchild of Lucien Dasoul, 65, a singer-songwriter from Liège who founded the group as a tribute to his uncle Walter, known as Walty, an artist who died in the 1970s.

That family connection gives the project an emotional base that extends beyond the music. Lucien also adapts his uncle's lyrics, letting material from another generation move forward through a new creative voice. He holds onto that memory of the past artistic connection and modernizes the songs with a contemporary identity.

"Walty makes you dance-Walty te fais danser" certainly has a disco-inspired energy. The fluctuating production recreates that familiar dance character for today, generating movement between memories and modern electronic presentation.

The energetic focus connects the song inherently to its title, but the shifting production keeps the arrangement moving. "Walty makes you dance-Walty te fais danser" gives an older musical spirit room to move in a contemporary context under the creative direction of Lucien Dasoul.
